Position: (SC) Functional Lead

Responsibilities:

• Provides overall project, delivery order, task order or subtask management for large, complex programs and information system development projects including management program and systems design, development, deployment, maintenance and enhancements.
• Assists interfacing with all government and commercial activities and provides integration planning and execution for cross-functional processes and applications.
• Ensures schedules, milestones, deliverables and technical solutions are in accordance to technical and budgetary constraints and support all program objectives.
• Leads the project or multiple tasks and retains overall responsibility for performance, including cost, schedule, deliverables, and contractual compliance
• Provides the interface to the customer and other project leaders.
• Identifies, acquires, and utilizes company resources to achieve project technical objectives.
• Establishes priorities for task assignments through completion.
• Ensures that quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting requirements deadlines and constraints.
• Ensures quality assurance and timely delivery of all deliverables.
• Identifies all task responsibilities and reports any changes or suggestions to ensure compliance for government regulations and codes, as well as organizational policy and procedures.
• Participates in contract negotiations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or 2 years experience as a Functional Lead
• Experience in Technical Writing
• Fluent with Microsoft Office – and you can pick up on collaborative tools like Google Docs
• Excellent analytical skills – you can take a problem, break it down, and prioritize
• You can communicate professionally, charismatically, and tactfully at all times
• Most importantly, you know how to get things done while also building relationships and working well in a team
