  • Developing Financial Functionalities and Strategies and discuss them with all the stakeholders, present them with Test approach and Test cases, methodologies and incorporate changes as suggested to ensure the business requirements are met throughout the life of the project.
  • Developing Design Solution Documents and Financial Use Cases in accordance with Federal and State Child support System requirements in Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2015.
  • Writing Test Scripts for Financial Screens and executing them in testing tools. Reporting defects using TFS and retesting them once the bugs are resolved.
  • Using Requirement Traceability Matrix and burn down chart to ensure the business requirements are met in the application.
  • Interface with help desk to resolve tickets as required and assist child support staff and end users regarding all questions on payment posting, payment tracing and error correction on state systems.
  • Testing various Palmetto Automated Child Support System (PACSS) business functional features including, Case Initiation, Paternity Establishment, Enforcement, Financial Distribution and Disbursement and Federal Reports.
  • Interprets laws, rules and guidelines governing case and financial management and ensure compliance with accounting practices and principles related to financial screens in PACSS.
  • Work with Lead Business Analysts to identify risks and provide solutions to resolve and mitigate risks. Assist in tracking status of project documents, test results, post implementation change requests and future enhancements.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure the developed systems satisfied the needs of end users as specified in the functional requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Operations, from receipts to disbursements, distributions, recoupments, order and obligations, adjustments and collections related to child support enforcement.
  • Using various tools like TFS, SQL Server to create queries and pull up data for analysis, MS Visual Studio, and generate PPT, Pie Charts, Test metrics and test reports to advise, clarify or educate users on financial management functions and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with state recommended practices pertaining to use of the state-wide system and serve as subject matter expert that analyzes and evaluates the functionality of current automated financial management process.
  • Participate and contribute to team meetings and peer reviews and come up with ideas to improve and accelerate the development to deliver the data before timeline.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills – able to have clear, concise and accurate communication and an active participant and contributor to team meetings.

 

Requirements:

Master Degree in Finance, IT Management, Information Quality or related is required.
