Configuration Management Administrator

Position Description:

The Configuration Management Administrator is responsible for overseeing requirements traceability to developed software, managing change control processes, coordinating application deployments across multiple environments, and tracking defect resolution activities. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity, consistency, and quality of the application throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in software development on a large, complex automated systems development project similar in size and scope to a Statewide Child Support System.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis and design.
  • An understanding of Child Support Program objectives and requirements, including federal rules and regulations governing the Child Support Program and system certification requirements.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience documenting, tracing, and tracking requirements throughout all phases of the SDLC using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience performing code deployment activities on a large, complex automated systems development project similar in size and scope to a Statewide Child Support System.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Agile methodology experience and/or formal Agile training.
